WorkNomads Services & Solutions
WorkNomads is a full-stack industrial AI transformation partner. We design, develop and deploy across infrastructure, hardware, software, and data, helping businesses move from fragmented, reactive operations to connected, intelligent, autonomous systems.
We work across four connected layers, the Industrial Intelligence Square:
- Infrastructure: civil engineering, HVAC, MEP, and energy systems, the physical foundations industrial AI depends on.
- Hardware: industrial machines, sensors, and edge devices, rugged and purpose-built for environments where standard IT fails.
- Software: agentic AI, machine vision, and ERP/MES integration, systems that act, not just alert.
- Data: edge analytics, simulation, and decision pipelines, turning operational noise into measurable outcomes.
The point is simple: you do not have to manage five different vendors who blame each other when something breaks. One partner covers the full stack, from physical foundations to agentic AI. Learn more about our engineering services here.
The difference is scope and accountability. A consultancy advises and hands over a report. A systems integrator connects tools that already exist. A reseller marks up someone else’s product. We are not a consultancy, a software vendor, or a reseller. We design, develop and deploy the solution across all four layers, and we stay accountable for whether it works.
Most point tools solve one part of the problem and leave the integration, the context, and the result to you. We cover the full stack, so there is one partner rather than five, and no gap where each vendor blames the other.
Yes! Although we work across all four layers, most engagements start with one focused project, for example a connectivity assessment, a predictive maintenance use case, or a single software or hardware build. We start small, prove value, and scale from there. You are not required to commit to a full-stack program to begin.
Our primary focus is manufacturing SMBs: companies with 30 to 250 employees operating under real cost and compliance pressure: energy costs rising, regulation tightening, uptime demands growing. We work particularly well in plastics, chemicals, ceramics, metals, food processing, and pharmaceuticals.
Beyond manufacturing, we also work in regulated sectors including energy infrastructure, defense (dual-use), and commercial real estate where building intelligence and OT/IT integration are priorities. We remain open to strong inbound from other sectors. Start-ups with a clear use case and a fast decision-making cycle are a good fit.
Delivery model
Most of the work is delivered remotely and coordinated from our Sofia hub, with on-site visits whenever the physical environment requires it: for example, for hardware, sensors, plant infrastructure, installation, commissioning, or testing. Each project is led by a dedicated project manager who serves as your single point of contact, supported by clear workflows, regular communication, and transparent progress updates. Where needed, we begin with a site visit before specifying hardware or developing software, then design, build, and integrate the solution remotely while combining remote delivery with targeted on-site support to ensure a smooth implementation.
We always start with a Proposal Workshop (either online or on-site) to understand where decisions are breaking down, define what a working solution requires in your specific environment, and give you a clear picture of what to expect before any larger commitment is made. From there, we adapt the commercial structure to your operational needs, offering flexible delivery models that can range from embedded teams to targeted project delivery.

We integrate with what is already there. We do not ask clients to rip out existing control systems, replace ERP platforms, or start over. Our edge AI layer connects to existing PLC/SCADA infrastructure, reads the signals, and adds intelligence on top, protecting the capital already invested. Where systems do not yet exist, we design and implement the right infrastructure from the ground up. Where they do, we work alongside them.
WorkNomads is the engineering depth internal teams usually do not have, not a replacement for them. Internal teams are typically strong on business systems: ERP, CRM, reporting. What they rarely have is OT connectivity, edge AI deployment, industrial network architecture, and the hardware integration layer. We plug exactly those gaps, without displacing what your team already does well.
No. That is the normal starting point, not a reason to wait. Siloed data across ERP, MES, SCADA, and spreadsheets is exactly what most sites begin with.
We usually start with a connectivity assessment: mapping what is readable, what is missing, and what to fix first. From there we connect the systems into one real-time view. You do not need clean data before you engage us. Getting there is part of the work.
Yes! We document the build and train your team so you can own and operate what we deliver. You own the systems and the outcome. We are designed as a long-term partner, so we stay involved as your operation evolves and new use cases appear. But that is a choice, not a dependency. The goal is a capable, independent operation, not a reliance on us.
We are vendor agnostic. There is no proprietary platform you have to buy and no preferred cloud we push. We choose the stack that fits your environment, then document it and hand over the knowledge so your team can run it independently.
AI and technology
AI is not a layer we add at the end. It is embedded across the full stack from the point of data collection. At the edge, we deploy rugged hardware that runs AI inference locally: no cloud dependency, no latency, no data leaving the facility. Decisions happen in milliseconds, at the machine.
At the operations layer, our agentic AI systems detect, decide, and act. They do not just alert. They integrate with MES, ERP, and SCADA to trigger responses without human intervention. At the commercial layer, our Agentic AI for Industrial Sales automates lead qualification, outbound outreach, and technical inquiry handling, integrated directly into your CRM. We are vendor agnostic, choosing the right stack for each client based on cost, latency, compliance, and legacy compatibility. We use cloud platforms such as Azure ML, GCP Vertex, and AWS as components inside our full-stack delivery, as the value-add layer on top of them rather than a reseller of their services.
Yes! Our Agentic Engine is available as a standalone offering for manufacturers looking to scale either their commercial or procurement operations without adding headcount. On the sales side, it supports agentic lead generation by improving targeting, enriching prospect data, and automating outreach across email, LinkedIn, and CRM systems, as well as agentic technical inquiry handling that qualifies inbound leads, answers product and specification questions, and shortens the time between first contact and a qualified conversation. On the procurement side, it can automate supplier discovery, RFQ and tender handling, vendor qualification, quote comparison, and supplier communications, helping teams reduce manual workload and accelerate purchasing decisions.
If you are not sure where the greatest opportunity lies in your organization, the Proposal Workshop will help identify the most valuable use cases and based on your operating environment, requirements, and the complexity of the processes being automated.
On latency: our edge AI layer runs inference locally, at the machine. Data does not travel to a cloud platform before a decision is made. Response times are measured in milliseconds, which matters where a delayed signal has operational or safety consequences.
On security: we design OT/IT architecture with network segmentation as a baseline, so operational and external-facing networks are separated by design. We apply encrypted data transmission, role-based access control, and audit-ready logging throughout.
For operators subject to the EU CER Directive or NIS2, we map security controls to the relevant requirements during the Proposal Workshop, so compliance is built into the architecture from the start.
Energy is one of the largest controllable costs in manufacturing. Properly instrumented, connected, and optimized infrastructure can reduce consumption by 20 to 30%, by eliminating idle running, optimizing load distribution, and predicting demand peaks.
We instrument the facility with the right sensor layer, connect it through an industrial network, and run AI-driven optimization at the edge. HVAC, compressed air, production line scheduling, and energy load management all feed into a single decision model. The result is a measurable reduction in cost.
It is also relevant to EU Industrial Accelerator Act compliance, where demonstrating low-carbon performance can unlock preferential access to public procurement and EU subsidies in steel, chemicals, and food.
Practical details
Our engineering hub is in Sofia, Bulgaria, and our team works across geographies, delivering across Europe, the Middle East, and beyond. We describe ourselves as a nation without a country: expertise is not tied to a location, and neither are our clients.
For European manufacturing clients, we work mainly across Western Europe (Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Spain, UK) and Central and Eastern Europe (Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia).
We invoice in euro. Bulgaria adopted the euro as its national currency in January 2026.
For VAT, we follow EU rules. If you are an EU-based company, our services are usually reverse-charged, so we do not apply VAT and you account for it under your local rules. For non-EU clients, VAT generally does not apply to services delivered outside the EU. Exact treatment depends on your location, so we recommend confirming with your tax advisor.
